On November 18, 2016, Sharon Alviti, founder and president, Victoria Alviti Music Foundation received the Partners in Philanthropy award from the RI Philharmonic Music School for furthering the achievement of their mission through significant generosity and outstanding leadership. The 2016 National Philanthropy Day Awards Ceremony was hosted by the Rhode Island Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
